Candide, the legendary progressive punk trio, returns with the first single from their sophomore EP. ‘Break Into My House’, coming May 9th, is a sonic home invasion, where deranged saxophony and garage-guitar fireworks collide with waterboard lyricism, disturbed spoken word, and monolithic synths to barrage the eardrums into submission. These are the melodies of a boy band exploding at Chornobyl; the new history, a car-crashing, ear-shattering cacophony for the modern world, a melodrama you just can’t quite get out of your head … The release of ‘Break into my House’ will be celebrated with a party and live performance at MAP Studio Cafe, Kentish Town, on May 9th, with support from Parlay.
